GRAFTON

On the evening of April 18, Mr. Fred Tran and Miss Edith Seely were united in marriage at the parsonage in Grafton by Rev. Reece of La Grange, assisted by Rev. Bryington. Miss Lillie Tran acted as bridesmaid and Mr. Byron Seely as groomsman. The bride was prettily attired in light brown and blue, and carried carnations. The groom wore the conventional black. The happy couple left at 9:30, and showers of rice and good wishes for a short trip.

On their return they gave a reception to friends at their newly furnished home on Chestnut street, about 80 persons being present. Ice cream and cake were served. The band added to the pleasure of the evening by playing a few selections. Many presents, both useful and beautiful, were left with best wishes of joy and happiness.
