Edna F. Seeley Becomes Bride of Edward Bridge

Edward K. Bridge claimed Miss Edna Fern Seeley as his bride in rites Friday morning solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. John B. Hawkes, LDS elder, officiated at the ceremony.

A wedding breakfast given by parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. C.K. Bridge, 1052 W. 2nd North, honored the newlyweds after the ceremony. In the evening a reception in the Riverside LDS Stake Center was given by parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Willington Seeley, 728 Sonata (1260 West).

Greeting guests the bride wore a silk ballerina length gown with scalloped insets of Chantilly lace. The fitted bodice featured short sleeves with elbow mitts. Her veil trimmed in lace was held by a tiara encrusted with pearls and sequins.

Sister of the bridegroom Miss Beth Ann Bridge, was maid of honor. Miss Ane Anderson, Miss Ileen McCleery and Miss Ruth Kirby were bridesmaids. Sister of the bride, Miss Linda Seeley, was junior bridesmaid with another sister Guy Ann Seeley as flower girl.

Robert Langford was best man. Doyle Seeley and Robert Seeley, brothers of the bride were ushers.

The couple left for a honeymoon to Bryce and Zion Canyons. The pair plans to make a home in Salt Lake.
