L. Seeley - Ralph Chester Otis

Otis – Seeley

Ralph Chester Otis of Chicago and Miss L. Seeley, daughter of Mr. George Seeley, were married yesterday afternoon in the Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church. Miss Seeley was attended by six bridesmaids, who were her former classmates at Miss Porter’s School, at Farmington, Conn. These were Miss Welch of New Haven, Miss Bix of Buffalo, N.Y.; Miss Meacham and Miss Wilson of Chicago, and Miss Jurgensen and Miss Stuart of this city. They wore French gowns of yellow crepe de chine, with clack picture hats and tulle muffs. Mrs. J. Fred Brown of Boston, a cousin of the bride, acted as matron of honor. She wore a gown of yellow panne velvet and a black hat, trimmed with Irish point lace. Mr. Seeley’s (sic) ushers were all from Chicago. After the ceremony a reception was given at the Holland House for the families of the bride and bridegroom and their intimate friends.
