PITTSFIELD, Mar. 10 – A very quiet wedding took place at the home of A.B. McConnell, on Tuesday, March 7., when his youngest daughter, Mildred, was united in marriage to Mr. Chas. Seeley, of Brighton, O. The ceremony took place promptly at noon and was performed by Rev. E.G. Evans, pastor of the M.E. church here. The wedding march being played by a cousin of the bride, Dwight McConnell. The bride’s gown was of light blue crepe de chine, beaded in white. Her bridesmaid, Miss Marjorie Henson, wore a dress of grey crepe de chine, each carrying a bouquet of white carnations. Mr. Chas. Cameron was groomsman. Immediately after the ceremony a sumptuous dinner was served to the forty or more guests present, after which the bride and groom departed, amid congratulations and good wishes for a short visit in Cleveland. The bride being dressed in a dark blue suit and hat to match, for this trip. Upon their return they will make their home in Brighton. Many gifts of silver and cut glass were presented them. The immediate families of both parties and a few close friends were in attendance, among them were: Mr. and Mrs. D.S. Seely of Brighton, parents of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Rex Rowell of Elyria, she being a sister of the groom, the rest being sisters and brothers of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Wm McConnell, Mr. and Mrs. John McConnell and family, Mrs. Hall and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ober and family all of Wellington; Mrs. Florence Squires and family, Geo. McConnell, Mr. and Mrs. F. McConnell and family and Mr. and Mrs. James McConnell and family, all living here, and Mr. and Mrs. Clodrick and family, of Penfield.
