Pretty Social Event At Home of Bride’s Parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Hosley of the Haskell

Haskell Flats, March 31. – Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Hosley gave a reception Friday evening, March 27, for Mr. and Mrs. Donald H. Seeley. About fifty were present. Mrs. Seeley and her bridesmaid were gowned in pink silk with an overdress of lace. Mrs. Hosley, mother of the bride was gowned in lavender and white, silk trimmed with Irish point lace and ribbon. The Misses Thelma and Evelyn Hosley, sisters of the bride were gowned in white silk with green messeline satin. Mr. and Mrs. Hosley received many beautiful gifts of china, silver, linen and cut glass. Among the out of town guests were Mrs. Frank Barns, mother of the groom, and children, Earle and Ruth, and Mrs. Dorothy Brundage of Shingle House; Mr. Powell and daughter, Mrs. Wasson, and son Ray Powell of Bolivar; Miss Bell Seeley of Warren, Pa.: Mr. and Mrs. Dana Hadley; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burlingame; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Snyder of Keller Bill; the Misses Marion Luthern, Peggy Morris, Vivian Happell, Mary Wiseman, Lois and Muriel Jackson, Helen Neff, Hulbert Gilson, Stacey Valentine and Cris Neilson of Olean.
