James Seeley – Barbara Brown

Barbara Brown, James Seeley Exchange Vows

Peacock Blue gowns and matching hats were chosen for the attendants of Miss Barbara Brown for her marriage to James Seeley Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. in the Boscobel Methodist Church. The Rev. Virgil Brown was the officiant.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Brown, Blue River, appeared in a ballerina-length gown of lace with a back panel insert of nylon tulle. A pearl crown held her veil, and she carried red roses.

Miss Gloria Olmstead, Fennimore, maid of honor, and Miss Judy Schell, Excelsior, bridesmaid, carried tinted carnations.

The son of Mrs. Lila Seeley and the late Charles Seeley asked Charles Seeley, Boscobel, to be his best man, and William Brown, Blue River, to be groomsman. Ushers were James and Paul Wayne, Boscobel.

The reception for 200 guests was held in the church parlors.

The bride, who is employed by the Boscobel Telephone Co., and the bridegroom will reside near Boscobel.
