Nuptial vows of Miss Bernice Grace Seely, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Seely, 508 W. Johnson st., and Robert Guy Peterson, 225 N. Marquette st., were exchanged in a 1 p.m. ceremony at the Pilgrim Congregational church on June 11.

The Rev. A.T. Wallace officiated.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white slipper satin gown and a lace-edged fingertip-length veil. She carried red and white roses.

Mrs. George Greishammer was her sister’s matron of honor. She wore a powder blue gown and matching veil held by a tiara of white flowers. She carried salmon-colored roses and light blue flowers.

The flower girl, Bernice Jean Bedward, niece of the bride, wore a light pink dress and carried pink rosebuds and gysophila.

Harald R. Schilling was his nephew’s best man and Billy Peterson, brother of the bridegroom, and Roger Bedward, nephew of the bride, ushered.

The bride’s mother chose a black and white dress with matching accessories and the bridegroom’s mother wore a navy blue dress with white accessories. Both had corsages of pink carnations and white sweet peas.

A reception of 65 guests was held at the church and at 6:30 p.m. a dinner was served at the Capital hotel. Mrs. Milford Seely, Mrs. Clifford Matney, and Mrs. Charles Safranes assisted.
