Norma Roundy Bride In Provo Wedding

PROVO – Newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. R. Dean Seely, are honeymooning in California. Mrs. Seely is the former Miss Naoma Roundy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Roundy of Wallsburg and Mr. Seely is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Rex Seely of Mt. Pleasant.

The couple was married Dec. 30 at the John Roundy home, 146 S. University ave. by Reuben D. Law, bishop of University LDS ward, in the presence of immediate family members and close friends.

A reception honored the couple at the home following the ceremony.

The bride was charming in a white slipper satin gown with fitted bodice, long pointed sleeves and folds at the hip which fell in a drape at the back and swept into a long circular train. The high neckline and front of the gown were trimmed with seed pearls and her veil of illusion was caught to a seed pearl coronet. The bride’s bouquet was American Beauty roses and gardenias.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Miss Gay Roundy, her sister, and Miss Shanna Seely, the bridegroom’s sister, as bridesmaids. Reid Seely, the bridegroom’s brother performed duties of best man.

Special guest was Mrs. Martha Parcell, grandmother of the bride.

Stanley Roundy and Keith Boren were ushers.

Mr. and Mrs. Weston Frandsen had charge of the gift room.
