Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Salvatore of 34 Congress St. announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Agnes, to William Seely, son of Mrs. Clarice Seely of 28 Henry Ave. and John C. Seely of Santa Barbara, Calif. The wedding is planned for Aug. 2 at Sacred Heart Church.

Miss Salvatore graduated from St. Joseph’s High School and Berkshire Business College. She is employed in the field documentation department in the ordnance systems at GE.

Mr. Seely, a cost accountant in ordnance, is a graduate of Pittsfield High School and the University of Massachusetts.

Miss Salvatore Bride Today of William Seely

Miss Susan Agnes Salvatore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Salvatore of 34 Congress St., will be married today to William Seely, son of Mrs. Clarice Seely of 28 Henry Ave. and John C. Seely of Santa Barbara, Calif.

The Rev. Joseph A. Coffey will officiate at the 11 o’clock ceremony in Sacred Heart Church. A reception will follow at Ida and John’s Restaurant in Hancock.

The bride will wear a silk linen gown which she designed herself. Her veil will be held by yellow and apricot flowers. She will carry mixed flowers.

Mrs. Thomas Gagne will be matron of honor. Miss Nancy E. Williams will be maid of honor. They will wear yellow silk linen gowns and carry mixed flowers.

John C. Seely Jr., brother of the bridegroom, will be best man. James S. Salvatore, brother of the bride, and Mr. Gagne will usher.

The couple will live at 159 Doreen St. after Aug. 9.

The bride, a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School and Berkshire Business College, is employed in the field documentation unit of GE ordnance systems.

Mr. Seely is a graduate of Pittsfield High School and the University of Massachusetts. He is employed as a cost analyst with GE.
